Book Review: ‘Noisy Dinosaurs’ & ‘Emergency Rescue’

Little Man & I were very excited to receive two new books in the post a couple of weeks ago. They are right up Little Man’s street; noisy books about emergency vehicles and dinosaurs!! They are Noisy Dinosaurs by Jonathan Litton and Emergency Rescue by Annette Rusling, they are both published by Little Tiger Press.

Noisy Dinosaurs is a great interactive book. It has both touch and sound elements to it resulting in Little Man having a ball with it. Each page looks at a different dinosaur and allows the child to hear their roar! Little Man loved copying the different roars and finding the button on each page. At the end of the book all the dinosaurs roar together. The photographs are bright and colourful and the book itself is a chunky board book so no need to worry about it falling apart or getting ripped. If your child loves dinosaurs then this is definitely the book for them.

Emergency Rescue is based around all of the different types of emergency vehicles. There is a button on the book too which when pressed sounds a siren! Little Man loves pressing the button to hear the noise. I found this book was great for asking Little Man questions like asking him to find the helicopter or the police car. Again, the photographs are bright and eye catching; this book held Little Man’s attention until the end. This is also a thick board book so nice and hardy for little hands. Little Man has been learning about the emergency services at nursery so I found this a great book to supplement that. Another great book from Little Tiger Press.

Noisy Dinosaurs costs £8.99 to buy and Emergency Rescue is £6.99. Although this is more than I would normally pay for books I do think these are worth the money and will last Little Man a long time. Both of the books recommended ages are 3-5 years. You can find out more about Noisy Dinosaurs here and Emergency Rescue here.

I would love those two books! 🙂
I was reading to a little boy the other day and I just had to make all the noises myself 😀 I think he would love these and his little sister.

I love your new layout by the way, looks great and so much more inviting (I love design stuff, I’m a total nerd)! x

They are great, I struggle with roaring in different ways I have to say 😉

Thank you, so glad you like the layout, it’s a lot simpler I think. Simple seems to be best xx

This kind of books are so worth the investment! I received quite a few as gifts when my boys were in that age range and they were completely amortized by the use they gave them. Gorgeous books!!
