Another day, another farm in pictures.

As the weather has been so lovely this week, I didn’t want to waste the last day of the week so we sacked off the ironing and chores and headed off to the farm yesterday. I love finding new places to take Little Man and am still looking for local farms and parks to take him too. My Dad had told me about The Stables – Farm, Shop & Cafe so we headed there.

It was much bigger than I expected and had wonderful views of the surrounding area. Little Man visited the little farm. He really enjoyed seeing the pigs, lambs, bunnies and chickens. It was compact so very toddler friendly and there was the opportunity to feed some of the animals too. Little Man is still a bit wary of this kind of thing but we are trying to get him a bit braver.

20150705_104210We carried on down the track and found the strawberry fields. Filled with childhood memories I grabbed a basket and took Little Man off strawberry picking. I’m not quite sure he understood the point in this but he did enjoy carrying the strawberries around. It was a lovely half an hour.

Then we headed to the cafe. Wow. The food was amazing and we will defintiely be returning. The menu is brilliant and the food beautifully presented.

If you are in the Midlands and looking for a new farm to visit, give The Stables a try. You can find them on Twitter here.
