A Visit to Halfpenny Green Airport in Pictures

My boy loves planes. He loves the Disney film about them, he has all sorts of planes toys, he loves watching them in the sky. He is a huge fan of planes. One Monday a few weeks ago my Dad suggested we go to Halfpenny Green Airport in Wolverhampton. I have to admit I didn’t know Wolverhampton had one! Anyway, we headed off and after a half an hour drive we arrived. It is a mini airport really; used for businesses and a flying school. They have a little viewing area which has picnic tables so you can watch the planes with a cafe too. You can also have a nosey at some of the planes as you walk through the airport. This place, to Little Man was what dreams were made of! Here are some photos of our afternoon plane watching.

If you have a plane loving kid and you are in the Midlands area then I would highly recommend a visit here. Don’t worry the cafe does cake! You can find out more here.

This post isn’t sponsored by the airport, we just really enjoyed it.
