Our Christmas

Hi! Remember me?! I may have taken a slight extended break from blogging. I don’t know about you but all routines go  out of the window over the Christmas break and so does all sense of what day it is!! I do know, however that it is New Years Eve and I can’t quite bring myself to post about Christmas in January so here I am.

We have had such a lovely Christmas; it has been hectic but also a really lovely relaxing break too. I have been able to catch up with and spend time with friends, spend some quality family time with the boys and drink a lot a couple of glasses of wine on a week day evening!

All 3 of us have had two weeks off work and nursery so we have had some lazy days and some busy days, it’s been really nice. On the Christmas weekend we spent Christmas Eve celebrating Wigilia with G’s family, then had Christmas Day just the 3 of us and then spent Boxing Day with my parents. A quiet Christmas Day was just what my very overwhelmed three year old needed. He had all the time in the world to open presents and play with them. I think a highlight of his day was watching Stick Man on TV, did you see it?!

It really has been a magical Christmas; Little Man really got to grips with it this year and his face when he saw that Santa had been made my Mummy heart ache. Christmas really is so much fun with kids.

Anyway, the decorations will be coming down tomorrow and I am done with Christmas for another year. Here are a few photos to show you what we got up to.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
