Sisterhood of the World Award

I have been nominated by the lovely Sarah over at Run, Jump, Scrap (if you haven’t visited her blog before, pop over, it’s a good one!!) for the Sisterhood of the World Award. I love a tag style post like these, mainly because I love reading random bits of information about people!! ย So I shall go ahead and answer Sarah’s questions. If you want to know about more about how this post works, scroll down to the bottom where you find the rules!!

Sisterhood of the World Award

How did you come across reading my blog?

I think I found Sarah via Twitter and took part in one of her series. We have chatted on Twitter since and I join in with her Best & Worst linky too!

Whatโ€™s your favourite place in the whole world?

I have a few but one of my most favourite places is Challaborough Bay in Devon. We found it when looking for a caravan holiday and I have loved it ever since. It is calm, peaceful and as I am a huge fan of the sea it is the perfect place for me.

What is your 2016 blogging goal?

To carry on enjoying it. Any added extra’s which have come from starting my blog have only ever been bonuses. I am in love with writing and hope to continue loving it. I want to help as many Mummy’s with post-natal anxiety as I can too.

What could you not live without?

I know it is soppy but I have to say my boy. He is my whole world and I can’t really remember life without him. From soppy to materialistic I think I would be pretty lost without my phone too!

Your favourite drink?

I am one of those strange people that don’t like tea or coffee but I do love a good hot chocolate or glass of wine!

What did you want to do when you were younger?

I always wanted to be a Librarian. I loved reading and wanted to share that with others.

The worst date you have ever been on?

I cannot disclose it I’m afraid ๐Ÿ˜‰

Your ideal day to yourself?

A lie in and then taking my time to get ready. Then a nice brunch somewhere and a little walk. Then some quality time with my laptop writing or reading a good book. Chocolate would be involved somewhere too.

Favourite clothes shop?

I have to say Primark. I love the variety they have in there and you really can’t grumble at the prices!

Your most embarrassing moment?

I have so many, you would never reach the end of this blog post. One of them has to be walking into a glass door in my first job. There are others like shutting my own hand in a door, dropping a bed on my hand, the list is endless.

So there are my answers. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Now for the rest of the game.

I nominate the following bloggers (you usually have to nominate 10 but I knew a few of who I would have nominated have already done this, apologies to the ladies below if any of you have done it and I have missed it):

Budget Food Mummy

Picking up Toys

A Cornish Mum

Laura’s Lovely Blog

Baby Weaning Chart

Here are my questions for this lovely lot:

  1. What do you love most about blogging?
  2. What is your favourite book?
  3. Night in or night out?
  4. Why did you call your blog the name that you did?
  5. Where is your favourite place to eat?
  6. If you could meet anyone famous, who would it be?
  7. Do you have any new years resolutions?
  8. If you could spend the day without your phone or your laptop, which would it be?
  9. Sweet or savoury?
  10. If you could describe your blog in 3 words, what would they be?

Have fun ladies!

Here are the rules for the Sisterhood of the World Award:

Ooh I love my questions thanks love! Had a giggle at trapping your hand in the car ouch – I constantly shut my hair in the door when I get in and I quite often misjudge the height of my car when getting in and smack my head as I climb in – you’d think I’d learn my lesson with both but nope ha!
