5 Reasons Why Being A Mum is Awesome

Sometimes being a Mum is tricky. We find ourselves being tantrum tamers, constant worriers, wine drinkers, nurses, teachers and so much more too! But actually it is pretty awesome being a Mum really isn’t it?! As it’s Mothers Day on Sunday I thought I would share with you 5 reasons why I think being a Mum is bloomin’ awesome.

You get to watch your little human grow up – That’s a pretty privileged position we are in as parents. We get to help them grow up and teach them right or wrong but also watch them do it in their own way. I love to look back at old videos and see how much Little Man has changed over the last 3 years.

You will always have a friend – When G worked away I would often feel lonely. Not anymore with my little mate by my side. In fact, he promoted me to best friend the other day. I’m not going to lie, it was a proud moment!

You get to act a bit silly – Having a child means you get to be one again. I love nothing better than a game of cars or trains. I also paticularly enjoy the role of scary monster!

The Cuddles – Kids are like cuddle machines. If I need a cuddle I can just ask Little Man and over he comes. You can’t beat a cuddle from your little one.

How proud they make you – Being proud of everything that they do and knowing that you had a part to play in it is just perfect. That is why I love being a Mummy.

Happy Mothers Day for Sunday.

Totally agree with all of those. When James works away my eldest keeps me company and helps more than usual (still not a lot haha) I hope you have a lovely Mothers Day, thanks for linking to #PickNMix

So true, especially the getting to act silly bit. What other excuse would I have had over the years for getting in to ball pools for a start?!
