We Went on a Pumpkin Trail

Halloween is coming and the blog world and Instagram are full of beautiful photos of kids pumpkin picking. We took Little Man strawberry picking in the summer and although it was fun he enjoyed it for all of 10 minutes. He didn’t want to carry the strawberries so although I would have liked to have gone pumpkin picking I figured he certainly wouldn’t want to lug a pumpkin around if a strawberry was too heavy!

However, when I spotted an ad for a Pumpkin Trail at one of our favourite places to go, Webbs Garden Centre I thought it would be perfect. It was a great little trail around their Riverside Gardens. Sam had to find the letters and make the word. He even got a little chocolate treat at the end of it. And the best thing of all; no carrying pumpkins. I thought I would share a couple of photos with you.

Have you done any pumpkin related activities yet? If you are in the Midlands I would really recommend this one for a fun one over half term, you may be able to sneak in a look at all the Christmas stuff in Webbs too! Look out for some Halloween activities to do at home on the blog later in the week. And don’t worry they will be better than our pumpkin painting disastor last year…my Mum is in charge this time!

What a fun colourful looking trail. My car decided to break as soon as we got back from holiday, so I’m confined to places I can walk to at the moment. Being lazy that basically means the local spar shop 😉 Really cute photos.
