Review – SuperMocio 3Action XL Mop

Another day, another spillage on my kitchen floor. I don’t seem to go a day without looking at the floor in my house and wondering if I did actually clean the floors or hoover the carpets the day before because it looks like an angry chef has been cooking in the kitchen and a herd of elephants has trampled through the lounge. Where does it all even come from? The kitchen floor is the worst, instead of simply eating his food Little Man likes to wave his food filled fork around the room before it goes in his mouth or at the very moment he is walking with a drink in his hand he feels the need to jump 4 feet in the air sending milk or other liquids into the air. Little Lady used to be fairly clean; it was me shaking her bottles in a sleepy daze and momentarily forgetting the lid. However now she is weaning, so with the spoon goes her hand and orange coloured puree spreads over the floor. I am painting a bleak picture and I promise my house is clean but time is not something I have now and quick effective cleaning methods are my new love. Not quite sure I ever thought I would say that sentence but hey, that’s being a parent for you. When Vileda offered me the chance to review their new mop I actually jumped for joy. Mops and I have never really got on and I can usually be found on my knees with a floor wipe so this was great, not only for my floors but for my knees too!

The Vileda SuperMocio XL 3 Action Mop really is quite impressive. For the nasties that are really stuck to the floor it has a non scratch scourer, this really worked on the dried formula that I had thrown across the kitchen! It also has a microfiber zone for getting rid of greasy marks. Most impressively it has 3D dots to pick up hair and other particles. Although it may sound gimmicky it really worked and my floor really did look lovely. After having my hair cut in my kitchen I particularly tested the 3D dots and it picked the stray hairs up after hoovering like a dream. The mop is also extra large and I really noticed how quickly I got the floor moped and like I said before time saving is paramount now.

You can get the Supermocio mop in a mop and bucket set for £14.99. The bucket holds 10l and comes with a very impressive wringer system. As you press the mop into it to squeeze out the water it twists the mop really well so less water all over the floor and a faster drying floor before the little monkeys in your life have the urge to run all over it!

So as you can probably tell I really like this mop! If you are looking for a quick and easy way to mop the floors this one is definitely one to try!

Vileda sent me this mop set in return for an honest review, all opinions are my own.

You’ve made me remember just how desperate my floors are for a mop ha… we currently have a tumble dryer in the middle of our kitchen, until the shed is finally finished being built… but I can get to some of the floor.
