Review – Uncommon Goods

One of my weaknesses is things for the house, especially pretty things or things that are a bit different. Things that you don’t see everywhere. I have been looking for a few key pieces to put in our lounge and I was lucky enough to be asked by the company Uncommon Goods to review some of their items and found those key pieces! Uncommon Goods feature the most lovely and unique items. One of the things I really love is that a lot of them are made by individual designers and use recycled or upcycled materials too. If you are looking for unique gifts for friends or family especially with Christmas coming up Uncommon Goods is a great place to start. I chose four items and I am so pleased with all of them.

The first thing I chose was the Gala Photo Display for £14.94. I love photos and I love displaying them a little differently to standard frames. This fits the bill perfectly, there is space for a few photos and then a little ceramic container at the side which could be used for plants or maybe trinkets. I will be using it for pens I think. This is made by a designer in China and I just love it. It is perfect for the mantelpiece or maybe for a gift.

Also for the house I chose the Bloom Vase for £29.88. I loved the look of this but also the idea behind it from the designer who says it is a a reminder of growing in strength and beauty. This looks beautiful on my window sill and is really very good quality. This will be a staple in my lounge for a long time.

Next I chose something for the garden. I chose one of the Garden Fairy Sculptures for £22.41. We have lots of cute little ornaments in our garden, Little Man loves to go searching for them. I loved the idea of having a little fairy in amongst the flowers. You can buy one or a set of three to make the garden extra magical and they are weatherproof too!

Finally I treated Little Man to something for his room. He chose the Electric Block Lights (set of 36 blocks) for £22.41. Little Man has been struggling with the dark nights so this has been perfect to have in his room in the evening. The best part is he can build whatever he wants so it can be a different thing every night. We have had lots of fun with this light and it is the perfect Christmas gift for a little one.

Head on over to Uncommon Goods to have a look at all their amazing items. I was super impressed and will definitely be returning to buy some Christmas presents.

I was kindly sent these products for review, however all opinions are 100% my own.
