Last month was Little Mans 5th birthday party. We had it at home and the kids
and parents had a yummy pizza lunch. It was a winning combination. Normally at parties I fill jugs of squash up for the kids to drink but this time we had the opportunity to try out Appy Kids Co drinks. What better way to give them a good road test than with a roomful of kids.
If you haven’t heard of Appy Kids Co before they produce healthy drinks and snacks. There values centre around providing healthy products which kids will love but also that parents will be happy about giving to them too. Their products have no added sugar, GMOs or artificial preservatives. They are also gluten free and Vegan Approved and the Paw Patrol drinks are fortified with extra vitamins too. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? What’s great about Appy Kids Co is that they use loved kids characters on their packaging too. Kids just love anything with characters on so this really does have the winning formula. Good for them and they want to drink it without us having to persuade them first.
We were very kindly sent the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Multifruit juice drinks, the Paw Patrol Orange juice drinks and the Paw Patrol Apple drinks to try out. They also feature Peppa Pig, Roald Dahl characters, Minions and Dora the Explorer too in the same flavours and a few others too.
The kids were instantly drawn to the drinks and they really enjoyed chosing their favourite character. My boy is a fussy eater and he would normally be quite worried about trying anything new like this but he was straight in to try them because they had Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the carton. The cartons were the squishy kind with a straw and easy to open and drink from.
So how did they taste? Is it all too good to be true? They really are very tasty drinks. All the kids really enjoyed them and some even asked to take some home with them which is a pretty good sign. It was really nice to offer something fun and exciting at a party but also healthy. It was nice to know they were getting a bit of fruit in them whilst scoffing pizza and cake. They are jam packed with fruit and no nasties.
When I asked Little Man what he thought of them he said ‘they are so cool, I had 2 and they were yummy in my tummy’. You can’t ask for a more honest summary than that. You can find a list of stockists on the Appy Kids Co website. On top of all this good stuff, they are really good value for money too!
I was sent these drinks in return for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Thank you to the lovely Mummy’s for letting me use the photos of their gorgeous kids!
