Non-traditional Valentines Gift Guide

Are you a Valentines lover or hater? Or maybe you are somewhere between; you like to get a little gift to mark it but not too fussed about the flowers and chocolates side of things. If this is you then I have put this gift guide together for you. It is full of random ideas that will hopefully give you some inspiration if you’re not feeling the hearts and flowers.

1 – Personalised Clothing – Personalised or slogan clothing is a big thing at the moment and you can get some lovely embroidery services from brands such as Printsome. So why not make something for your other half with an ‘in joke’ or a pet name.

2 – Purse Craft Kit If the person you are buying for loves crafting then kits from Crafters Companion might be the gift for them. The one I am featuring is The Makery purse kit and it’s so cute. It has gorgeous packaging and once it is made it looks like the photo below. So pretty! The kit is £14.95 and has everything in there that you need to make the purse.

3 – Personalised Keyring –  These keyrings from Mackenzie & George are gorgeous and amazing quality. You can get them embossed with the initials of your loved one to make a very classic lovely gift.

4 – Personalised Hairbrush –  If you are looking for the perfect cute gift then Bags of Love is the website to go and have a look at. They very kindly sent me their personalised hairbrush and it’s lovely. The brush itself is really good quality and having the photo on it makes it extra special. I am a huge fan of having photos everywhere so why not on your hairbrush too!!

5 – Supercar Event Tickets – Got a super car fanatic in your life? Then tickets to The Super Car Event could be the best present for them and also a great family day out.  This year it  is at Rockingham Circuit and there is loads to do for everyone including the kids! At the moment the Early Bird adult ticket is £10.56. And to top it off the event is raising money in aid of The Childrens Trust. I will be visiting this event in July so look out for what we get up to there!

6 – Candyshell Grip Phone Case – A lot of us are attached to our phones now and love an accessory for it. These cases from Speck not only look good but they are also meet drop test standards for military-grade protection so perfect for people that have phones that end up in the hands of little ones. I can’t wait to use mine!
