Review – Earth Friendly Baby

My kids skin is the bane of my life. They both suffer from sensitive skin and both can get quite bad bouts of eczema especially when in the really hot months and the really cold months. I am always on the look out for the perfect bath time product to help them so when Earth Friendly Baby got in touch I couldn’t wait to give their products a go.

Earth Friendly Baby products are all made from natural ingredients which makes them really very gentle on the skin. They are vegan friendly, organic and don’t contain nasties which can irritate the skin too.

We have been trying out the Calming Lavender Bubble Bath, the Calming Lavender Body Lotion and the Soothing Chamomile Shampoo & Bodywash.

The bedtime routine in our house is a big part of the day so it is important to me to not only use products that will be kind to the kids skin but also that will chill them out and relax them ready for a good nights sleep.

The bubble bath and body lotion worked really well for us. The bubble bath bubbled up nicely in the bath and they both smelt divine. They contain lavender, chamomile, rose-hip and hibiscus and it really is a lovely scent combination and really did chill them out before bed. Apart from the kids smelling really good I also noticed a real difference in their skin. At this time of year both kids have really dry skin especially on their legs and these products (we used them daily) really helped. The body lotion went on really well and wasn’t too greasy so no slippy kids while you’re trying to get them into their PJs!

We also tried out the Chamomile Shampoo & Bodywash which like the other two smelt gorgeous. This one has a more fresh smell which is really nice for the shampoo part of it. It left the kids hair nice and soft and was easy to wash out of their hair. This was great for Little Man especially and lathered up nicely on the sponge.

I loved these products so much that I have started to use the body lotion myself!

If you are looking for something that is gentle on your babies skin and leaves them smelling beautiful too then I would definitely recommend giving Earth Friendly Baby a try. They also have wet wipes and massage oil too. Little Lady loves a little massage before bed so I will be trying that out too.

I was sent these products in return for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.

    Hi Rachel.

We’ve had always recommended Childs Farm but I’ll check these products out. They may be good for the Children on our website that suffer from Eczema. We run a website and support group called OurEczemaStory and get lots of questions about safe and Eco-friendly products that parents can try on their children who suffer from eczema.
Love your blog. Thanks for an awesome website, keep up the good work and good luck in the future.
