Messy play. You might hate it but I guarantee your kids love it, am I right? With the introduction of slime and similar things messy play doesn’t stop at the toddler age either nowadays. My boy loves it and he was thrilled when we were kindly sent a Gelli Worlds pack from Zimpli Kids.
If you haven’t heard of Zimpli Kids before they are well known for their slime products especially their Slime Baff! Yes, slime in a bath! This time we were giving the Gelli Worlds Dino Pack I go and I have to say we were impressed.
The pack comes with an inflatable tray, 5 bags of Gelli and 8 little dinosaur figures and trees.
Making the Gelli was easy. The instructions were easy to follow and you simply just add water and stir to turn your water into Gelli. It takes no more than a few minutes to turn into a thick gloopy consistency and to be ready to be played with.
From a parent point of view the inflatable tray is great; there is less mess and it is all a lot easier to contain and when the kids have finished playing it’s easy to get rid of as it can get flushed down the loo. From a kids perspective the whole set was great fun. Little Man loved setting up a dinosaur scene up in his Gelli and getting well and truly messy. It kept him occupied for ages and his little sister even had a go too.
Both of my children have sensitive skin but there was no problem with this as Zimpli Kids products are non irritant. There was no staining to our hands either which I was surprised about considering how green the Gelli is!
All in all we loved trying out Gelli Worlds. It’s a great way to keep the kids occupied for an hour and gives them lots of space to use their imaginations too. Gelli Worlds comes in the Dino Pack and also the Fantasy Pack and the RRP fore them is £14.99 which considering how much Gelli powder you get I think is great value for money. If your looking to combine messy play with imaginative play then these sets are perfect. They come highly recommended from us.
These products were sent to me in return for an honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.
