Mothers Day Gift Guide 2019
Mothers Day is fast approaching and if you feel like you have done chocolates and flowers too many times over the years I am here with some last minute inspiration for the perfect Mothers Day gift. From books to hoodies, I have 8 items to help you think a little outside of the box this year!
If your Mum, like me doesn’t tend to drink very much but still likes a glass of wine every now and then, then some low alcohol wine could hit the spot nicely. These award winning British low alcohol wines from Three Mills are delicious! They are packed with flavour that you would expect from a good wine, there is just a little less of the alcohol and they are vegan too. You can grab a bottle or two from Sainsbury’s, Asda or Home Bargains.
Spring has most definitely not sprung at the moment and the woolly hats are still out. Buffwear do some really gorgeous hats like this one. They are so comfortable and very warm too. You can even grab your Mum a neck warmer to match too. The hat costs £32.26 and is well worth the money.
If you Mum likes to have her tea or coffee on the go in the morning then a good insulated cup is a must have. Treat her to a top quality one from Klean Kanteen. Their Insulated Tumblers keep hot drinks hot for 4 hours and keep iced drinks cold for 20 hours! They are easy to drink out of and super durable. Their Klean Coat finish means they are 4 times more durable and chip resistant.
If you’re after some toiletries that are a bit different then I have the perfect brand for you. Little Beau Sheep produce gorgeous soaps like this one. It is a felted soap which means it is both a soap bar and flannel. It is enriched with lanolin and wrapped in wool. The soap is so lovely to use and so soft on the skin, my kids especially have loved using it. When it is is all finished with there is just a little ball of wool left which is biodegradable. These soaps are a really lovely gift.
I love to buy books for gifts and there are so many good ones out there. I’m recommending ‘Unscripted’ by Claire Hanscombe which is all about lives that are intertwined, whether dreams can ever become reality and a woman with a plan to get the actor she’s a huge fan of to marry her. It is a really good read and had me hooked until the very last page.
If you follow me on Instagram then you will know I am a huge fan of the clothes from Ada & Alfred and the ‘Motherhoodie’ couldn’t be a more perfect gift for Mothers Day this year. It’s cosy, comfy and looks great. I live in mine!
If your Mum is looking for a new hobby then an arts and craft gift could be just the ticket! This Modern Calligraphy Gift Set comes with everything they need including 6 ink colours and ShimmerInks too. Such a lovely gift and something new to try.
Personalised gifts always go down a storm on special days like Mothers Day and this gorgeous white and rose gold jewellery box would be no exception. It is from Giftpup.com and costs £24.99. The box has lots of room for jewellery with a mirror on the back of the lid too. Your message goes on the top making it a really special gift.
Some of these items were sent to me in return for my honest opinion. All opinions are 100% my own.
