I have another lovely book to share with you from Little Tiger Press. Regular readers know what a fan of their books I am, I honestly don’t think you can get better interactive books for your toddler. They very kindly sent me one of their new releases called I Like to Squeak! How Do You Speak?   This story is all about a little mouse who is learning about other animals sounds. It is a noisy book too; when the flap is lifted the animal noise sounds. This was a lovely surprise for Little Man when he lifted the fist… View Post

Finding time to exercise is like finding a needle in a haystack for me. Okay, so I may be exaggerating but I am very good at finding excuses not to exercise. When I do, I feel loads better but actually getting the motivation is tricky. I used to love going to classes before I had Little Man but with G working away I am confined to the house in the evenings and when G is home I don’t like to be out all the time. Not long after having Little Man I started to do exercise DVDs, you know the… View Post

When Chemist Direct offered me the opportunity to review their service I jumped at the chance. I love online shopping; it makes my life 10 times easier and whatever I can buy online I will. I hadn’t heard of Chemist Direct before so I was intrigued. Chemist Direct is exactly what it says on the tin – it is an online chemist. They provide services including an online doctor and prescription feature and the ability to buy medicines and toiletries online. The Chemist Direct website is really user friendly and I found my way around it straight away. With a… View Post

If you haven’t heard of Penwizard before, they produce personalised books for kids. You can find a review of their wonderful Peppa Pig books here but this post is all about their potty training books. Little Man loves starring in books himself and is at potty training age so this was a great opportunity for us. The Penwizard website allows you to make the character as similar to your child as possible. You can choose from a pirate, prince or princess character; Little Man chose to be a pirate. The website is really easy to use and it is so… View Post

Little Man & I were very excited to receive two new books in the post a couple of weeks ago. They are right up Little Man’s street; noisy books about emergency vehicles and dinosaurs!! They are Noisy Dinosaurs by Jonathan Litton and Emergency Rescue by Annette Rusling, they are both published by Little Tiger Press. Noisy Dinosaurs is a great interactive book. It has both touch and sound elements to it resulting in Little Man having a ball with it. Each page looks at a different dinosaur and allows the child to hear their roar! Little Man loved copying the different roars and… View Post
